Day 20 of 1461 days Trump will be in Office
It’s Super Bowl Sunday. Football fans will be getting the chili or their favourite foods ready for tonight’s big game. I’m one of them. I’ll be looking forward to the festivities and the game at a friend’s place later today. In general I enjoy Sunday’s. They are, at least for me, a day when I catch up on editorial commentary and other articles I may not see during the week. This Sunday, and I expect for many more to come over the next four years, there is no shortage of pieces to read.
Of course, for me, a lot of it is about President Trump. Probably too much. Call it “shock and awe” or “flooding the zone” when you have an administration flooding the sphere with news and announcements you do your very best to try to keep up, for the fear you may miss something big. While I don’t have the pressure of deadlines or editors, it does not diminish the commitment I have in wanting to provide something other than just more noise.
As we close out the third week of Trump’s presidency, I will be watching the game and keeping a close eye on my cell phone.
