Day 19 of 1461 days Trump will be in Office.
President Donald Trump and his leading henchman Elon Musk continue to make waves and headlines in Washington. Musk’s reign may be coming to an end over the next few months. He was appointed as a Special Government Employee by Trump this week, likely to give some level, albeit minimal, of legitimacy to his role. The kicker is that the appointment has a time limit of 130 days. The clock is ticking. It should be interesting to see if Musk ramps up his efforts during this time frame.
Trump Signs Order to Fight ‘Anti-Christian Bias.’ New York Times, February 7, 2025.
Never wanting to miss the opportunity to steal the spotlight away from someone else, Trump used the National Prayer Breakfast as the platform to announce, yes, you guessed it, another Executive Order. This time, it is to eradicate “Anti-Christian bias” in the federal workforce. Trump said, “If we don’t have religious liberty, then we don’t have a free country.” Not sure if anyone has informed the President of this, but the USA does have religious freedom. It is, at least for the moment, against the law in the USA for any employer, government or otherwise to ask anyone about their religious affiliation. This is just another approach for Trump is using to attack D.E.I. (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) initiatives and to further instill a…
